The Society was formed in the year 1976 to cater to the needs and aspirations of the members belonging to National Insurance Co Ltd, Oriental Insurance Co Ltd and United India Insurance Co Ltd . Those were the days of real hardship, the formation of Society was a great relief to the members, who otherwise were dependent on private money lenders and various banks to get loans. From then GIECOS has come a long way, lot of innovations and improvements have taken place. Now GIECOS is standing on its own feet without even a single pie of borrowings from Banks. Only due to this fact GIECOS is able to provide loans to members at a cheaper rate of interest than any Financial Institutions, This is a real achievement, and GIECOS would like to give the entire credit of this achievement to its esteemed members, well wishers, investors, retired members, dedicated staff members and all stakeholders.

Society has completed 4 decades of unblemished service to our esteemed members. At present we are offering 14 different types of loans, at a very low rate of interest. Besides providing loans and financial aid, the Society has successfully inculcated a habit of savings among our members by way of FD, RD and MDS. We thank each and every stakeholder in making our Society strong and vibrant. Expecting your whole hearted co-operation in the times to come.
